Zero
Therapy Dog
Experience: 5+ years
Core Skills: Providing support to clients in therapy
Zero is a five-year-old Border Collie x Miniature Australian Shepherd. He has been trained in Animal Assisted Therapy to provide support to clients in therapy. His loving nature means he’s always happy to say hello and encourage people he meets to give him a pat. In his spare time, Zero likes to go to the beach and enjoys stand-up paddle boarding.
Zero has worked in several therapeutic settings including being the first court therapy dog in Queensland.
Zero’s extensive training has provided him with the skills to effectively engage with clients in a therapy session. He responds to both verbal and visual cues to interact with both therapist and client.
To maintain the wellbeing of our therapy animals, they are closely monitored for their wellbeing and provided breaks from sessions as necessary. As such, we cannot guarantee their attendance in any particular session. If you have any allergies or fear of dogs, please notify staff prior to your arrival.
