Group Therapy Programs
Group therapy programs can assist individuals with a wide range of mental health needs. Small group therapy is often helpful for children who are working on developing social skills, friendships, language, and relationships.
Fundamental Psychology offers a range of group therapy programs tailored to assist you and your family. Our currently available programs include:
Minecraft group
Our Psychologists like sharing their interest in Minecraft through small groups where participants work together to mine and build creating new lands. Our Minecraft groups focus on building a shared task and working together to achieve the shared vision while having lots of fun.
Collaboratively build worlds on a private server hosted by Fundamental Psychology.
In term 1 2024 these groups will only be run online.
Groups are run weekly for 60 minutes on a Tuesday from 5 – 6pm and 6 – 7pm.
Cost for 10 weeks is $670

Dungeons and Dragons
Our Dungeons and Dragons group is for adolescents who like exploring fantasy worlds and embarking on epic quests. Our groups encourage social interaction through a shared interest in playing Dungeons and Dragons. This in turn builds self-confidence in social interactions through building connections with others who have similar interests.
Choose your character and form an adventuring party to complete quests as you explore a fantasy world together.
Play in-person at our Wellington Point clinic or Online.
Groups are held on a fortnightly basis for 2 hours on a Wednesday from 4.30 – 6.30pm.
Cost for 5 sessions (2 hours each) held over 10 weeks is $815

Lego
Our Lego groups promote social interaction through turn taking, sharing and developing shared ideas. It helps to build self-esteem in a relaxed, fun environment where we enjoy building new creations.
